Instead of sending readers through a page of outbound links, we organize country names, identifiers and geography concepts into a consistent directory with supporting explanations.
Who the site is for
The site is designed for students checking a capital, travelers looking up a country code, developers confirming an ISO identifier, teachers creating geography materials, and anyone who wants a clean world-country reference without creating an account.
What we publish
Our core directory uses a clearly stated 195-country editorial scope. Country pages combine identifiers and practical reference fields with contextual explanations, while guides cover topics where simple tables can be misleading—such as country counts, regional classifications and calling-code systems.
How we maintain the data
Structured data helps keep country pages consistent, but automated formatting is not treated as an authority. Before release, we check the collection for missing records, stale currency codes, internal-link problems, and known country-name or capital changes. Editorial independence
